UNDERSTANDING SALVATION & YOUR NEW IDENTITY IN CHRIST

Deciding to place your trust in Jesus is the single most important decision you will ever make. For many of us, life can feel heavy, empty, or weighed down by mistakes, regret, and the feeling that something inside us is broken. The truth is, none of us are perfect, and we cannot fix our hearts or earn our way to God on our own. That is why Jesus came.

Salvation isn't a reward for good people... it is God’s free, loving gift to broken people who need a Saviour. When Jesus died on the cross and rose again, He carried the weight of our sins so that we could be completely forgiven, washed clean, and restored into a personal relationship with Him.

Receiving salvation simply means stopping the struggle to carry life on your own, recognizing your need for Jesus, and surrendering your heart to His loving care. The moment you step into His grace, your past is forgiven, your purpose is made clear, and you become a brand-new creation. Whether you just prayed to receive Christ, or you are still exploring who Jesus is, we want to help you understand this life-changing decision and build a strong, joyful foundation for your new life in Him.

"If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9 NKJV

If you haven't prayed for salvation and would like to make that decision, you can visit us in our in-person service and we will personally pray with you, or you can make that decision right now by clicking the button below.

WHAT ABOUT WATER BAPTISM?

You might wonder if you need to be baptized right away. While baptism is an important biblical step, it is not a requirement for salvation. Water baptism doesn't save us, Jesus' sacrifice on the cross already did that! Baptism is simply an outward, public declaration of the inner decision you've made to follow Christ.

Going under the water represents leaving your past behind, and coming up out of the water represents your new life in Christ. When our church hosts our next baptism service, we'd love to celebrate your new life in Jesus with you!

"I accepted Jesus a long time ago... is it too late for me to get baptized?"

Not at all! There is no expiration date on baptism. Whether you gave your life to Jesus yesterday or decades ago, taking this step is always a beautiful and powerful way to honor your decision today. God’s timing is perfect, and it is never too late to step into the water!

"I was baptized before, but I didn't fully understand it or walk with God. Can I do it again?"

Yes! If you were baptized as a child, went through the motions, or felt like you didn't truly understand what you were doing at the time, getting baptized now as a personal, wholehearted choice is completely wonderful. Re-baptism is a meaningful way to say, "I know what I believe now, and I am choosing Jesus for myself."

EXPERIENCING TRUE COMMUNITY & SPIRITUAL SUPPORT

Following Jesus is a personal decision, but it was never meant to be a solo journey. Throughout Scripture, God brings believers together into a family so we can help each other stay strong, encouraged, and grounded in our faith.

It is easy to feel lost in the crowd, but God created you for deep, meaningful connection. A church family is not just a building you visit on Sundays. The church IS the people. It is a community of real, imperfect individuals walking through life together. Having a church home gives you a true place to belong, serve, and be cheered on as you grow in Christ. If you have been looking for genuine fellowship or wondering how to get plugged in here, we are here to help you take that next step and find a place where you belong.

"And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together..." Hebrews 10:24-25 NKJV

We would love to meet you! Come visit us this Sunday, be surrounded and encouraged by like-minded brothers and sisters in Christ. If you'd like to connect with us online, you can also email us at DoorChurchYeg@gmail.com or for a quicker alternative, you can click the button below.

GROWING DAILY IN GOD'S WORD

The Bible is not just an ancient book or a list of strict moral rules. It is God’s living Word, written directly to reveal His heart, His love, and His promises to you. Trying to navigate life on your own can feel confusing and overwhelming, but God gave us Scripture so we would never have to guess who He is or how much He cares for us.

When you open the Bible, you are not just reading words on a page; you are entering into a personal conversation with God. Reading the Scriptures regularly will transform how you think, bring clarity to your daily decisions, and bring deep peace to your heart. You do not need a theology degree or years of experience to understand it. You just need a willing heart. Whether you are opening a Bible for the very first time or looking for helpful tools to study it daily, we are excited to help you discover the life-changing wisdom found in God's Word.

If reading the Bible feels intimidating or overwhelming, you don't have to do it alone or figure out complex reading plans. Begin with small, consistent daily readings in the Gospels (like John or Mark) or follow a simple reading plan using a study Bible or app.

"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." Psalm 119:105 NKJV

The Bible is God’s Word to guide, encourage, and transform us. Building a daily reading habit helps you get to know God personally.

If you ever feel stuck or want extra guidance on how to read and understand God's Word, we would love to help! Join us for a Sunday service, and our team will gladly sit down with you in person to answer your questions, walk through Scripture together, and support you in your journey.

DEVELOPING A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP THROUGH CONVERSATION WITH GOD

Prayer is simply opening your heart to God in honest conversation. When you have a genuine relationship with someone, you talk to them, share your life with them, and spend time together. It is the exact same way with God.

You do not need fancy religious language, perfect words, or memorized scripts to speak with Him. God does not look at how impressive your words sound, but instead, He looks directly at your heart. He desires to hear your authentic thoughts, your deepest fears, your highest hopes, and your simple prayers of gratitude.

Talking to God is where a real, personal relationship grows. When you bring your life to Him in prayer, you will begin to experience a deep peace that calms your anxieties and guards your heart. You will also learn how to slow down and recognize His gentle voice speaking back to you in your daily life. You never have to carry your heavy loads alone. Whether you need help starting a simple daily prayer habit or would like someone from our team to pray with you over a heavy burden, we are here for you.

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." Philippians 4:6 NKJV

If you'd like for us to pray and contend with you in whatever walk of life you're in, please don't hesitate to submit a Prayer Request. When you submit a Prayer Request, know that when we receive it, we are also praying with you.
